So what I am trying to do is that install surface strap thermostat on boiler inlet pipe and control lower limit for boiler to fire up at fix temp. I also have high linmit thermostat on boiler which I can set for either 160 or 170 F max. for house I do not have any valve to control room temp. all base board panels, which are fine.
