![]() By popular demand, Raymond Rudolph stars in this one-man comedy, My Dog's Got No Nose, (written by Ron Aldridge) which is presented as a fundraiser in aid of the Masque Theatre, Muizenberg, Cape Town. Directed by Celia Musikanth, it is a journey around a stand-up comedian's first ever public performance - his lifelong dream covers everything from comedy, unrequited love, dogs, the facts of life, animal-lovers and a whole lot more. In this funny, bitter-sweet story, we discover that the man and his "performance" are not quite what they seem. Hilarious, provocative & poignant, with dramatic twists in the tale, the show recently had its African premiere at the 2013 National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. The show is a fundraiser for the Masque Theatre, Muizenberg, which currently requires funds in excess of R1-million for necessary repairs to its infrastructure, and for an upgrade of its technical equipment. Proceeds will be donated to the theatre to help it continue providing top quality entertainment to the people of Cape Town. As an added bonus, the performer will be available after the show to sign autographs, t-shirts or fans' breasts.
